Prices are in USD, and so are deposits. IntakePay works with Stripe accounts in 43 countries, including the US, Canada, the UK, every EU country, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Singapore. Stripe’s processing fees on deposits are charged by Stripe on your own account, exactly as for any other payment. Each deposit is charged directly on your own Stripe account: it shows in your Stripe Dashboard under Payments, pays out on your normal schedule, and any refund is issued there. What IntakePay leaves to the tools you already use
IntakePay does one job: it takes a client from yes to paid. Everything else stays with the tools you already trust, so setup is three steps and any client can finish the link.
If you need one of these in the same tool, IntakePay is the wrong fit, and it is better to know that before you start than after.

- No email to your client
- You send the link yourself, so it arrives from you, in a thread they already trust.
- No contract builder
- Your terms, in your own words, signed with a typed name before they pay and kept with the payment.
- No calendar of our own
- Keep the scheduler you use today. Once your client has paid, they pick a time on it, right on the page when it’s Calendly.
- No CRM or client portal
- Nothing for your client to log into. They get a link; you get a list of who has paid.
- No free tier
- Free until your first client pays you, with a card on file, then $19/month. One plan with everything in it.
- Built for one person
- No team accounts. IntakePay is for solo practices.
Pricing questions
Why do you need a card to start?
There is one plan and no free tier, and it is free until your first client pays you. You add a card when you start, and nothing is charged until a client first pays you through IntakePay: that day your $19/month plan begins, and the email about that payment says so. If no client ever pays you, you are never charged. Cancel anytime from the billing page.
Does IntakePay take a cut?
No. IntakePay takes 0% of every deposit. Stripe’s standard processing fees apply, deducted by Stripe on your account exactly as they would be for any other payment. The only thing IntakePay charges is $19/month.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from the Stripe billing portal, linked from your billing page. No email, no call. Links you have already sent keep working, so a client who is about to pay is never stranded, and you can still export your data.
What if my subscription payment fails?
Stripe retries the card, and you keep full access for 3 days while you update it from the billing page. Links you have already sent stay payable throughout.
How do refunds work?
Refund from your own Stripe Dashboard, as you would any payment. When a deposit is fully refunded, the client’s row changes to Refunded. Partial refunds are recorded, and the row stays Paid.
What will my client see on their card statement?
Your Stripe account’s statement descriptor, not IntakePay. The deposit is charged on your own Stripe account, so it carries the descriptor set in your Stripe Dashboard. When Stripe has one on file for your account, the page your client sees after paying quotes it.
Can my client send me files?
Photos, yes: up to three, when your form asks for them, such as a reference picture. There’s no upload for documents, PDFs or scans. Your terms are signed on the link itself, so nothing needs to come back as a file.
What is the MCP server?
An optional way to use IntakePay from an AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol: create a client link, list who hasn’t paid, or read a client’s answers. You create an API key in Settings, it is shown once, and you can revoke it at any time. You never need it to use IntakePay.
