Use IntakePay from your AI assistant
IntakePay works from your AI assistant. The intakepay-mcp server runs on your computer and gives an assistant that supports MCP four tools, using an API key you create in Settings.
Optional: IntakePay has no AI features of its own, and you never need the server to use it

Four tools
Your assistant calls them with your API key, on your account only
- create_client
- Creates a client link from a name and a deposit, with an optional email and package, using your current intake form
- list_unpaid_clients
- Lists the clients who haven’t paid their deposit yet, newest first, with their links
- get_client_answers
- Shows one client’s payment status and intake answers
- get_client_link
- Gets an existing client’s link, so you can send it again
No tool can email your client. You still send each link yourself.
deposit_cents is in cents: $750 is 75000. Every result includes deposit_display, so your assistant can confirm the amount with you.
There is no tool to delete, refund or edit a client. Do those in the dashboard; refunds happen in your own Stripe Dashboard.

The connector that runs these tools in Claude Desktop and Claude Code isn’t available to install right now. Questions: support@intakepay.com.

Your key and your data
Replace or revoke the key in Settings at any time. The old key stops working immediately.
- The key is shown once. IntakePay stores only a SHA-256 hash of it, never the key itself.
- The server sends the key only to
INTAKEPAY_URL, only overhttps://(plainhttp://is allowed forlocalhostonly), never follows redirects with it, and never writes it to logs. - Each key can see only its own account’s clients.
- What you ask for (client names, emails, intake answers) is sent to your AI assistant and handled under your agreement with that assistant’s provider. Ask only for what you need.
- Calls are rate limited per key. Each call is recorded in your account with the tool name and time only, not inputs or results.
The dashboard does everything these tools do
The server is optional: every client still gets one link with your questions and the deposit, paid into your own Stripe account
